I am in love with neutral colors as much as I love pastel colors. I guess it can go along well with any other colors and can be relaxing to our eyes. In choosing an outfit for attending church mass, try not to hurt anyone's eyes by wearing neon colors or bright ones because it could attract too much attention form other church-goers and might get distracted. Be simple yet fashionable.

Blue Ballet

I'm in love with tutu skirts! I don't know why but it gives me a fairy, ballerina and princess feeling that I always want to feel. I also love looking at the photos of girls wearing tutu because they seem so free! This tutu I wore was our costume for cheer dance when I was in 2nd year college. I made this so it doesn't look so perfect. When I found out that it is really easy to make one, I suggested this tutu to my group mates in cheer dance for our final presentation. I got good feedback from the audience like "Kayo pala yung mukhang fairy sa cheer dance" and "I like your costume". I wore my tutu for my first outfit post here in my blog because I'd like to share with you how to style it and if you want to know how easy to make one, just comment down below. I apologize in advance because I didn't wear shoes to match the outfit, I just wore a white stockings so it makes my outfit more ballerina-look.

D.I.Y. Denim Shorts

The sun is up and all we want to wear are just comfy clothes but most of us are lacking clothes to wear and we don’t want to get heat stroke wearing our no choice pair of jeans. Philippines is a tropical country so we have to load our wardrobe with a lot of summer dresses.  If you guys have no more to wear, why not remake your old denim pants into stylish and comfy denim shorts? Here are the easy steps in renovating an old jeans to a new denim shorts:

  • old jeans
  • scissors
  • thread and needle
  • pencil or chalk
  • measuring tape

First Step: Measure the length you want for your shorts. I recommend to make it 12-14 inches so it is not too short nor long. Add 2-3 inches so there will be allowance for cuffed shorts. Mark the length using pencil or chalk.

Second Step: From the length of your choice, incline the measuring tape a little downward until it reaches the other end then mark.

Third Step: Cut the marked line and do the step 3-4 on the other side of the jeans.

This is what your creation should look like at the moment:

Fourth Step: Cuff the bottom part of your denim shorts twice. The length of the cuff should 1-1/2 inch long.

Last Step: Sew the sides of your cuffed shorts to make the cuffs stay at its place.

And Voila! You now have your old-new denim shorts in less than an hour! I hope I wrote the steps well. If you have any questions, you can comment down and I'll try my very best to explain it to you. :) Enjoy the summer and don't forget to apply sunblock before you step out of your house for protection. See you on my next post! :)
